    The real estate investing business can be lonely. Outside the immediate circle of real estate investors not many people share the same views as us. Many people just cannot get the concept of not having a job and working towards financial freedom. I know that may be hard to believe because you don’t think that way but it’s true.

    That is why it is extremely important to attend the GOOD REIA meetings or other Real Estate Investing networking groups in your area. You also need to attend seminars. Now I don’t mean become a seminar junkie! Attend ongoing seminars that gives you updated information on your real estate investing niche and networking events like OREIA where there is over 700+ attendees to network with and be exposed to all kind of new information. Not to mention if you roll with the right crew you will end up at some wicked parties. Or outside of a bar at 3am where some homeless dude starts rapping for change…lol

    Events like OREIA is where new connections are made for business and friendships for life! Just like at your local real estate investing club you will find buyers, private lenders, and birddogs. And the people that you meet are events around the country are super nice. Just one example, I met one of my best friends Lee Smith at the Foreclosure Summit, an event just like OREIA. (Lee helped with the creation and is helping with the recreation of reitvshow.com COMING SOON!!!)

    Check out todays episode as Vena Jones-Cox and I break down greatest moments of OREIA. Vena organize the fundraiser each year and does a wonderful job each time. As we come closer to the 2010 OREIA I will let you know the details!
