Jon Zorrer takes a dip in the Cuzz, and talks about time, and how to manage it. I received this advice from a good friend and mentor Greg Clement the creator of realeflow. It has help me shift my thinking to the business owner part of the quadrant. Until you start thinking of your Real Estate Investing as a business you just have another job. Greg is very good at systematization and has made a huge mark on the real estate investing world with his business and marketing management system for real estate investors. You can find more information about realeflow and his FREE report the Freedom Manifesto here http://www.reitvshow.com/recommends/FreedomManifesto
Greg Clement and Jeff Walker, one of the worlds top Internet marketers and the creator of the Product Launch Formula, have now teamed up and created The Smart Internet Marketing Solution System(SIMS) which is in the BETA stage and is set to be launched this summer to the general real estate investing community. I am BETA testing SIMS in my business right now and we are finding around 13-18 new buyers a week with little to no effort of our part using their systems. The number of buyers we are finding are growing each week as well. I will keep you guys updated with more information when that is coming out. There is a ton of great information in there and I have to say 2 of the techniques that I am not ever allowed to talk about blew me away! It was worth 10 times what I paid for the course.
Anyway back to the video….
This is the general concept. There are Three types of days: focus days, buffer days, and free time days.
- Focus days are where you concentrate on the 20% of things that produce revenue(Pareto Principle).
- Buffer days are where you catch up, and do the 80% things that need to get done, but don’t necessarily produce revenue.
- Free time days are where you do your best to complete no work whatsoever. Basically you take 24 hours to rejuvenate, rest, and regenerate.
Full time investors should be using a schedule of: Mondays are focus days. Tuesday is a buffer day. Wednesday and Thursday are focus days. Friday is a buffer day. Saturday and Sunday are free time days(try to avoid work at all costs). Part Time investors need to chart their time and come up with an action plan of which days the will focus, buffer, and use their free time.
Setting your schedule up like the will increase your productivity dramatically. I challenge you to watch the video and try the technique for a 2 weeks and leave your story about how this has helped you or not.
See you next video….Peace Out
