I am a Professional Do Not Try This At Home!

Wendy Patton called me Friday night to let me know she was going to be in Philly for the day if I wanted to hang out after she spoke at the 2009 PA Real Estate Investors Wealth Conference. So Saturday I took a drive down to the conference and met up with Wendy after she spoke to the group. We started talking real estate investing and got so wrapped up in the conversation the next thing we knew she was almost going to miss her flight back to Michigan. So we had to make a mad dash to the airport. I even went over 3 speed bumps at 40+MPH (True Story) I was going to shoot another in depth episode for you but we had no time. I decided to shoot a quick episode driving at 65mph in the rain on the Pennsylvania Turnpike one handed! NICE! I can’t wait to see the comments for that one…lol Anyway we were able to get to the airport with 3 minutes to spare to check in and she made it home safe and sound! Wendy Patton is one of the coolest people that I know. She is a wonderful teacher and a successful real estate investor. If she comes to your area I would highly recommend you go and check her out. Oooooo What do We Have Here?

This is a “lost episode”. I was supposed to be #41 but #41 ended up being something else. I wish I could come up with a better story for you but I figured better just stay real. This was recorded back in June at Wendy Patton’s Soft Market Real Estate Investing Boot Camp. It is a lot of fun and all I am saying is it involves a jacuzzi! Enjoy! This is easily going to go down as one of my favorite episodes of REITVshow ever. About 2 months ago when I was at Wendy Patton Soft Market Investing boot camp I got to meet a very special future millionaire. His name is Arron and he’s 12 years old

Arrons music teacher, Mr. L., produces the music for Wendy Patton’s real estate investing courses. One day Mr. L. saw Arron reading the book, Rich Dad Poor Dad. The next time he saw Wendy he told her about the boy’s interests in real estate investing. So Wendy decided to give him her lease option and subject to real estate investing book.

So after reading the book Arron decided to send about page of questions back to Wendy asking all about the different strategies looking for a little more clarification. Wendy was so impressed at the level of questions that he was asking that she decided to invite him to her real estate investing boot camp.

I have to say is one of the coolest kids in the world and he’s really lucky to be where he’s at. Wendy gave Arron all of her courses and invited him to participate in her coaching program for free. With the cosigning of his parents he should buy his first house within this year.

K.I.S.S. means to Keep It Simple Stupid!

Many people go into analysis paralysis when it comes to real estate investing. They think that real estate is a very complicated business where only a few elite people rise to the top. When in reality, real estate investing, like everything else in the world, it has an inherent simplicity. Meaning when you really cut away all the B.S., real estate investing at its core is simple!

We make real estate investing complicated. How? With all of the information overload we put our brains through. Going from technique to technique trying to find the answer! Well the answer is stop that! Your making it more complicated than you have to. If you are really interested in a real estate investing technique really study, internalize, and then implement it. Reading about a technique is a really good thing but it can be confusing. That is why you have to internalize and then implement as well. When I do that is when I usually have a moment of clarity, I see the strategy for what it really is, and then I find the inherent simplicity in that strategy. Once you see the simplicity in something, you will be able to focus on just that and leave all the other garbage (that usually just make the strategy look sexy) behind and focus on the simple stuff that will sky rocket you business results.

In this video she shows you how to call Realtors in your area. These calls were made in New Jersey. Before I learned the language she uses I uses to call real estate agents all the time and get shot down. Wendy Patton has been a great friend since I met her at the Real Estate Millionaires Internet Marketing Mastermind and Vena Jone-Cox introduced me to her. When I found out she was coming to New Jersey to show Keller Williams agents, I gave her a call because I had to get a interview for my REITVShow Peepz! We actually caught dinner with Wendy, Tony and Pat Reeves the founders of GSREIA, after her seminar here in New Jersey in the Newark Airport (One of the Top 100 Things you need to see before you die! NOT) then shot a great show for you. Wendy Patton talks about lease options, land contracts(contract for deed), subject to’s, and lots of creative ways to purchase and sell real estate all over the country with little to no money down. Also talking about different ways to market for buyers and sellers.

Leads at the 2009 NJ Mortgage Brokers Convention – Episode #3

In this episode we are at the New Jersey 2009 Mortgage Brokers Convention in Atlantic City. I wish they had it in June or July not March we could have gone swimming!

Anyway, it was still worth it. Got to meet a lot of new people and saw some old friends too. Oh yeah and one of us had to sneak in even though we bought tickets….that was funny

So you may be asking yourself, your an investor, why would you take the time to go down to the mortgage brokers convention? Well its because there is an abundance of untapped seller and money lead sources in conventions like that. Not to mention after the financial collapse of most lending institutions mortgage brokers really know how to party!
