This was going to be episode #25 but for some strange reason it did not upload to viddler. So here is episode #26 as #25. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat news though. I found an easy wasy to get the video’s uploaded and posted at our Fast Track Mastermind meeting today sooooooooooo, as soon as I get back from the ATL I am going to have these video’s posted by someone else so I can just pump out content for you all day!

This is part 2 in the 2 part series of where I came from. I talk about getting out of the pre-foreclosure house that I had lived in.

There are many opportunitys that are right in front of your you just have to take the time to acknoledge them and take the inspired action to realize your dreams.

This reminds me of a true story that Russell Conwell told to help turn a night school in a church basement into what we know as Temple University in Philadelphia today.

 Al Hafed was living his dream life until one day a Buddhist priest visited him and during their conversation told him how the world was formed.

The old priest also told Al Hafed about diamonds and that if he had a handful of diamonds he could purchase a whole country. With a mine of diamonds he could place his children upon thrones through the influence of their great wealth.

That night he went to bed a poor man — not that he had lost anything. He was poor because he was discontented and discontented because he thought he was poor. After a sleepless night, he arose early the next morning and told the priest of his desire to be immensely rich. After a lengthy conversation the priest told him that he would find diamonds in a river that runs over white sand between high mountains. Al Hafed sold his farm, collected his money, left his family with the neighbors, and began his search for diamonds.

After years of exhaustive search throughout Palestine and across Europe, penniless, ragged and wretched, he threw himself into the incoming tide off the coast of Spain never to rise again.

In the meantime, back at the farm, Al Hafed’s successor, while giving his camel a drink from the stream that ran through the property, found a black stone with an eye of light that reflected all the colors of the rainbow. The stone turned out to be a diamond. And so were discovered the diamond mines of Golconda, the most magnificent diamond mines in the history of mankind; exceeding the Kimberley mines in value. Had Al Hafed remained at home and in his own garden, instead of wretchedness, starvation, poverty and death in a strange land, he would have had “acres of diamonds.” Every shovelful of that old farm has since revealed the gems which have decorated the crowns of monarchs.

The most amazing and tragic element of this story is the fact that we have so many modern day Al Hafeds wandering around looking for their acres of diamond everywhere except in the backyard of their own mind.

So the moral of the story is be open to everything and the possibility that you will then let in is infinite.

This is the first episode ever of http://reitvshow.com and I am super excited!!! This episode talks about where I came from.

I started out in the real estate investing business a in May of 2007 while working as a mortgage broker full time for a local mortgage company. I had just recovered from back surgery and the mortgage market had just started to fall apart. I had no business and I was broke. I had been laid up in bed for about 8 months prior in a little apartment that was actually in pre-foreclosure.

I had a burning desire to change my situation so I started Prosperity Home Solutions, LLC our investing company after attending a real estate seminar held by Vena Jones-Cox, my now great friend and mentor.

You have to have a why to succeed in real estate investing, or any business. You don’t just want to make money!

You want to  _____________ fill in the blank

• Help your family and friends
• Improve your living situation
• Travel
• Quit your job
• Do volunteer work for your favorite cause
• Just have free time
• Or any other number of countless reasons that inspire you to take action and succeed in the real estate business

So that’s what I am gonna do. I am gonna show you one of my original “why’s” and how I changed my situation.
